Project Officer – Immunization (Dollow)

About the role

The Project Officer – Immunization will lead and support the implementation of Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI) activities at district level in Dollow and surrounding areas. The role focuses on strengthening routine and outreach vaccination services for children under five and eligible women, in partnership with health authorities and community stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and support routine immunization services and supplemental outreach activities in the targeted districts.
• Work closely with the Ministry of Health, district health teams, health facility staff and implementing partners to ensure effective service delivery.
• Develop, update and monitor micro‑plans for fixed, outreach and mobile immunization sessions.
• Conduct supportive supervision visits to health facilities and outreach sites, assessing service quality and adherence to national EPI standards.
• Monitor vaccine supply, cold‑chain performance and data quality, ensuring compliance with donor requirements.
• Collect, analyse and report immunization data, track key performance indicators and support evidence‑based decision‑making.
• Participate in district and state coordination meetings, representing the project and reporting progress.
