Bid Manager – Part‑time, On‑site (Somalia)

About the role

The Bid Manager will work on‑site in Somalia on a part‑time basis, overseeing the complete bid lifecycle for construction and logistics projects. This role ensures that every proposal meets client requirements, company standards, and competitive benchmarks.

Key responsibilities

• Identify new bidding opportunities, coordinate internal bid activities, and prepare high‑quality, compliant proposals.
• Organise bid documentation, track critical deadlines, and maintain a central library of standard bid materials.
• Collaborate with technical and commercial teams to gather accurate information and develop response strategies.
• Analyse tender requirements, review content for clarity and accuracy, and support continuous improvement of bid workflows.
• Contribute to the development of competitive pricing models and value propositions.

Required profile

• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail.
• Proven organisational and time‑management abilities to handle multiple bids simultaneously.
• Ability to work collaboratively on‑site with cross‑functional teams in Somalia.
• Relevant experience in construction, logistics, or related industries; a diploma or degree in business, engineering, or a related field is advantageous.
