Field Manager – Hirshabelle

About the role

Save the Children is seeking a Field Manager to lead programme operations in the Hirshabelle region of Somalia. The role ensures that humanitarian and development programmes are delivered on time, within budget, and meet all performance and reporting requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the overall implementation of programmes in Hirshabelle, ensuring alignment with Save the Children’s quality framework.
• Manage programme budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure financial compliance.
• Coordinate with donors, government authorities, community leaders, and implementing partners to meet project objectives.
• Lead the full programme cycle, from assessments and design to reporting and evaluation.
• Produce timely and accurate reports for donors and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• University degree in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum five years of experience managing large programmes in complex emergency contexts.
• Proven experience in programme design, proposal writing, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.
• Strong planning, coordination, and reporting abilities.
• Ability to influence and support diverse stakeholders, including government and donors.
