Food and Beverage Supervisor

About the role

The Food and Beverage Supervisor oversees the daily operations of restaurant and banquet outlets, ensuring an excellent guest experience. The role also acts as deputy to the Food and Beverage Manager, covering meetings and managerial duties when required.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare staff timetables, duty rosters and allocate stations to team members.
• Supervise set‑up of tables, layout of restaurant, terraces and function rooms, and ensure mise‑en‑place is complete before service.
• Monitor cleanliness of back‑of‑house areas, dish‑washing processes and overall hygiene standards.
• Handle guest reservations, greet and seat guests, and ensure prompt billing and payment processing.
• Assist in service during busy periods and train staff on proper table service.
• Manage the new F&B store, issuing and replenishing goods, and monitor service flow during events.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of experience in food and beverage operations, including banquet, conference and VIP service.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP standards, SOP implementation and brand compliance.
• Proven ability to manage, hire and train waitstaff and bar personnel.
• Excellent grooming, communication and customer‑service skills.

Required skills

• HACCP knowledge and implementation.
• POS system operation and card‑payment processing.
• Proficiency with computer and IT systems for reservations and billing.
