Hospitality Trainer

About the role

The Hospitality Trainer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Garoowe. The Trainer will design and deliver training programs for hospitality staff and management, focusing on service standards, customer experience, and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Develop training materials and curricula tailored to hospitality operations.
• Conduct workshops, coaching sessions, and on‑the‑job training for front‑office and food‑and‑beverage teams.
• Assess training needs and evaluate participant performance to ensure learning outcomes.
• Provide practical guidance on front office processes, reservations, check‑in/check‑out, and guest relations.
• Advise clients on hospitality process improvements and service recovery best practices.
• Collaborate with Taageer Consulting teams and client organizations to align training content with industry standards and organizational goals.

Required profile

• Strong background in hospitality consulting and ability to advise on industry best practices.
• Effective training and facilitation skills, including curriculum development and workshop delivery.
• Solid customer service experience with a focus on guest satisfaction and service recovery.
• Practical experience in front‑office operations and knowledge of food & beverage service standards, hygiene, and safety.
• Relevant experience in hotel, resort, or hospitality training environments.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business, or a related field.
• Proficiency in English and local languages, with familiarity of the regional hospitality context.
