M&E Officer – Dollow

About the role

The Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Officer will support the Givewell Immunization programme implemented by World Vision and its partners in Dollow, Somalia. Working under the M&E Manager, the officer will help design, track and report on project performance to ensure immunisation targets are met and beneficiaries are well‑informed.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and update field monitoring checklists and data collection tools.
• Track output data regularly and provide timely feedback to project staff.
• Support accountability activities, including community information sessions on project goals and selection criteria.
• Lead real‑time and post‑distribution monitoring to assess impact and quality.
• Coordinate with state Ministry of Health, district MEAL teams, and other partners to integrate data into HMIS and DHIS2.
• Facilitate collaboration among implementing partners and ensure mutual accountability.
• Prepare regular M&E reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in monitoring and evaluation, preferably in health or immunisation projects.
• Familiarity with humanitarian accountability standards and the LEAP framework.
• Ability to work closely with government structures and NGOs.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Experience with Health Management Information Systems (HMIS).
• Proficiency in DHIS2 data entry and reporting.
• Ability to design monitoring tools and checklists.
