Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist

About the role

Krdo, a broadcast media company, is seeking a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist to design, implement, and oversee M&E frameworks for its media projects. This contract position is based in Mogadishu and offers a hybrid work model with both on‑site and remote flexibility.

Key responsibilities

• Develop indicators, data‑collection tools, and monitoring systems for projects.
• Collect, compile, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data.
• Prepare regular progress and impact reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide technical assistance to project teams on data quality, reporting standards, and learning processes.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement and support the design of evaluations, surveys, and assessments.

Required profile

• Strong background in monitoring systems and M&E frameworks.
• Solid analytical and statistical skills with experience interpreting data and presenting insights.
• Experience delivering technical assistance to multidisciplinary teams.
• Relevant academic background in Monitoring & Evaluation, Statistics, Social Sciences, Economics, Public Policy, or related fields.
• Ability to work independently in a hybrid setting and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
