Private Sector Engagement Expert

About the role

NTU International is seeking a Private Sector Engagement Expert to support the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme (AESPP Boost). The role focuses on strengthening private‑sector participation, business development, innovation, investment and commercial opportunities across African and European space ecosystems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to increase private‑sector involvement in space, geospatial and technology projects.
• Conduct market and value‑chain analyses to identify commercial opportunities and investment gaps.
• Facilitate matchmaking between companies, entrepreneurs, investors and research institutions.
• Provide business support services, including commercialization pathways and access‑to‑finance advisory.
• Coordinate knowledge‑exchange activities and policy dialogue between African and EU stakeholders.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in economics, business administration, engineering, innovation management or a related field (or four additional years of relevant experience).
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in private‑sector development, industrial cooperation, innovation, business development or investment facilitation.
• At least 4 years of experience engaging companies, entrepreneurs or investors, with proven expertise in market analysis, matchmaking and commercialization.
• Experience in the space, geospatial or technology sector, especially within Africa, is highly relevant.
• Excellent command of English; working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese is an asset.
