Project Coordinator – Immunization (Baidoa)

About the role

The Project Coordinator – Immunization will lead and oversee the GiveWell Immunization Program in targeted districts of South West State and Jubaland State. The role focuses on planning, coordinating, monitoring, and supporting routine immunization and outreach activities in partnership with health authorities and implementing partners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project management tools such as implementation, procurement, budget, and monitoring plans.
• Lead planning, implementation, and monitoring of immunization activities across the two states.
• Coordinate with State Ministries of Health, District Health Authorities, WHO, UNICEF, Gavi partners and other stakeholders.
• Provide technical and managerial oversight to EPI Project Officers and field teams.
• Ensure integration of project activities within state and district health plans.
• Organize and facilitate regular coordination meetings with partners and government counterparts.
• Represent the organization in EPI technical working groups, health cluster meetings, and immunization coordination forums.
• Strengthen collaboration among health facilities, community structures, and partners to improve service delivery.
• Monitor project progress, guide strategic improvements, and support evidence‑based decision making.
