Agronomist – Hargeisa, Somaliland

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Agronomist to join our team in Hargeisa, Somaliland. The successful candidate will provide expert advice and hands‑on support to improve crop production and sustainable farming practices.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct field assessments and soil analyses to recommend appropriate agronomic practices.
• Develop and implement crop management plans tailored to local conditions.
• Monitor plant health, diagnose issues, and advise on pest and disease control.
• Collaborate with farmers and local stakeholders to promote best practices.
• Prepare technical reports and maintain accurate records of field activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in agronomy or related agricultural fields.
• Strong technical knowledge and practical field experience.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
