Digital Marketing Specialist

About the role

Hormar Technology Solutions is looking for a proactive Digital Marketing Specialist to join its on‑site team in Galkayo District. You will design, launch and optimise multi‑channel campaigns that raise brand awareness and drive audience engagement for the company’s technology and youth‑mentorship initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, create and schedule content for social media, email and web platforms.
• Manage daily operations of social media accounts, including community interaction and engagement.
• Monitor campaign performance using analytics tools and produce regular performance reports.
• Adjust and optimise campaigns based on data insights and emerging digital trends.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
• Update website content as needed to reflect current promotions and initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in digital or online marketing, preferably within technology or education sectors.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messages for diverse audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work independently on‑site and coordinate with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Canva (or similar design tool) for creating visual assets.
• Web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to track and interpret performance metrics.
• Email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp) for campaign execution and reporting.
