Finance Assistant

About the role

The Finance Assistant will manage receipt and disbursement of funds, maintain accurate financial records and support programme operations in Mogadishu. The role may require flexible hours during humanitarian emergencies.

Key responsibilities

• Handle cash management, including receiving, disbursing and recording all transactions.
• Maintain accurate financial records and support reporting for the programme.
• Work under high pressure to meet tight deadlines.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor in Business Administration, accounting, finance or related field.
• Minimum 1 year proven experience in a busy environment, preferably with humanitarian organisations.
• High level of integrity and ability to work as part of a professional team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
