Land Surveyor

About the role

The Land Surveyor will join Amal Real Estate and Construction’s on‑site team in Garoowe, providing accurate land and topographic data for residential and commercial developments. This full‑time position supports design, planning and construction activities through precise field measurements and mapping.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct field surveys using Total Station and other modern surveying instruments.
• Mark property boundaries, collect topographic and infrastructure data, including sewer pipelines.
• Prepare detailed maps, survey reports and CAD drawings to support engineering and construction teams.
• Verify measurements against local regulations and standards.
• Maintain organized records of survey data and contribute to site assessments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide technical input during project execution.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics or a related field.
• Relevant professional certification or registration as a surveyor is an advantage.
• Ability to work on‑site in varying field conditions.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset and commitment to safety.

Required skills

• Operation of Total Station and modern surveying equipment.
• Proficiency with survey software, CAD tools and data processing, especially Civil 3D.
