Video Annotator (Remote, Full-time/Contract)

About the role

We are seeking meticulous Video Annotators to join a Vision‑Language‑Action (VLA) dataset project. Working remotely, you will watch short video clips of physical tasks and create step‑by‑step annotations that describe each action clearly and consistently.

Key responsibilities

• View each assigned video in its entirety to grasp the overall activity.
• Segment videos into logical steps, assigning accurate start and end timestamps.
• Write concise, grammatically correct instructions for each segment, maintaining consistent tense and tone.
• Follow provided annotation guidelines, taxonomies, and style guides.
• Flag videos that are unclear, corrupted, or mislabeled.
• Participate in calibration sessions and incorporate QA feedback.
• Meet daily and weekly productivity and quality targets while preserving data confidentiality.

Required profile

• English proficiency at C1 level (CEFR) or higher.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to notice subtle visual changes.
• Strong written communication skills for precise, action‑oriented descriptions.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently on repetitive tasks.
• Reliable internet connection and a computer with a modern browser.

Required skills

• Experience with video annotation platforms such as CVAT, Label Studio, or Scale.
• Basic computer literacy (file handling, web‑based tools, spreadsheets).
