Zonal Program Manager (2 openings)

About the role

The Zonal Program Manager will oversee World Vision’s programmes in Somalia, ensuring they are delivered effectively, on time, within budget and in line with donor and organisational standards. Working closely with technical teams, sector leads and partners, the manager will drive initiatives that improve child well‑being, strengthen community resilience and influence policy at zonal and national levels.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of multi‑sector grants, ensuring timely delivery, budget compliance and high‑quality reporting.
• Monitor programme implementation, partner performance and produce actionable reports.
• Provide strategic and operational leadership for emergency preparedness and response, including assessments, capacity building and resource mobilisation.
• Ensure compliance with World Vision policies, donor regulations and legal requirements across finance, supply chain, security and administration.
• Promote evidence‑based programming, monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning practices.
• Coordinate stakeholders, departments and assets to achieve operational excellence and impact.

Required profile

• Proven leadership and organisational abilities in a humanitarian or development context.
• Experience managing multi‑sector programmes and donor‑funded grants.
• Strong understanding of emergency response, risk management and compliance.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse partners and influence policy.
