DPW Supervisor (Tier 4)

About the role

The Department of Public Works (DPW) Supervisor (Tier 4) leads the public works function within an assigned area of responsibility. This role ensures that all public works services are delivered on schedule, meet code requirements, and support project success.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the DPW function and coordinate activities of all public works departments.
• Report operational status to public works and site management.
• Provide technical assistance and support to projects, interpreting codes, standards, and specifications.
• Conduct inspections and audits to verify compliance with requirements.
• Develop and deliver training for special processes and procedures.
• Create procedures and programs for technical support.
• Communicate with company and project management, designers, and client representatives to implement public works programs.
• Train, schedule, and supervise subordinate public works employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent, or comparable education/experience.
• Eight to eleven years of related public works experience.
• Computer proficiency, including email and Microsoft Office applications.
• Intermediate ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Authorization to work in the country of employment.
