Backend Engineer Annotator

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Backend Engineer Annotator to help train and improve AI models. In this role you will review, label and validate backend‑focused datasets, code snippets and system‑design outputs, ensuring they meet performance, scalability and security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and annotate backend code samples, REST API and GraphQL workflows.
• Label datasets that describe backend processes, authentication flows and micro‑service interactions.
• Validate scalability, reliability and performance criteria of server‑side implementations.
• Provide structured engineering feedback and reasoning for each annotation.
• Assess code logic accuracy and security compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technical field.
• Experience reviewing code or conducting technical assessments.
• Strong understanding of backend security principles and secure coding standards.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerisation.
