Barista – Coffee Specialist (Full‑Time)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Barista to join our coffee service team in Hargeisa. The successful candidate will prepare high‑quality espresso‑based drinks, maintain equipment, and deliver excellent customer service in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare espresso drinks (cappuccino, latte, macchiato, americano) with consistent flavor and presentation.
• Grind, dose, and tamp coffee accurately; experiment with alternative brewing methods when required.
• Create latte art and ensure precise milk steaming.
• Operate and clean espresso machines, grinders, and other brewing equipment; report technical issues.
• Greet customers, take orders, recommend beverages, and handle complaints professionally.
• Maintain workstation hygiene, follow food‑safety standards, and store ingredients properly.
• Monitor inventory of coffee beans, milk, syrups and consumables; assist with ordering and waste reduction.
• Collaborate with fellow baristas and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak periods.

Required profile

• Certificate in Barista Training, Hospitality or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 1 year experience in coffee preparation and latte art.
• Valid passport and professional appearance.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain punctuality.
