Food Services Specialist (Tier 4)

About the role

The Food Services Specialist supports the daily operation of Fluor's dining facilities, ensuring safe and high‑quality food preparation, meal service, and related support functions. This onsite position requires adherence to food safety standards and the ability to maintain a clean, organized environment for staff and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare foods and beverages following proper procedures, temperature guidelines, and safety standards.
• Set up and maintain dining room areas, serving lines, counters, stands, and special event stations.
• Refill consumables, wash and sort dishes, utensils, linens, and equipment.
• Perform general housekeeping duties in kitchen, storage, and dining areas.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and apply basic cooking and recipe‑conversion techniques.
• Provide task‑level guidance to less‑experienced personnel when needed.
• Assist with ordering, inventory control, material handling, and training functions.
• Ensure compliance with TB MED 530, OSHA 1910.1200, DoD 1338.10‑M, and MIL‑STD‑3006C regulations.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Minimum of two years of related food‑service experience.
• Intermediate proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Authorization to work in the country of employment.
