Global Business Expert – Procure-to-Pay for Supply Chain

About the role

Join BASF’s Agricultural Solutions division as a Global Business Expert focused on Procure‑to‑Pay for the supply chain. You will be part of a worldwide Process Excellence team, driving standardisation, simplification and automation of end‑to‑end procurement and inbound logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Implement new organisational and technical concepts for Procure‑to‑Pay, prioritising standardisation and automation.
• Ensure integration with Global Process Owners and align end‑to‑end processes across regions.
• Lead change and test‑management activities, supporting key‑user communities.
• Identify high‑value automation opportunities and collaborate with IT to design scalable RPA and AI solutions.
• Monitor business rules and performance through KPIs, process‑mapping tools and reporting.
• Lead regional and local Procure‑to‑Pay user groups to share best practices.
• Drive cross‑functional projects such as S/4HANA implementation, digital process transformation and integration of acquired businesses.
• Manage dependencies between Procure‑to‑Pay and supply‑chain functions like inbound logistics, inventory and finance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Procure‑to‑Pay or supply‑chain process optimisation.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to drive change and manage complex projects.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with global stakeholders and user communities.
• Ability to work in a multicultural, matrixed environment.
