Junior Curriculum & Pedagogy Expert

About the role

NTU International A/S is seeking a Junior Curriculum & Pedagogy Expert to join the core team of the EU‑funded Higher Education System Strengthening Project II in Somalia. The role focuses on strengthening higher‑education capacity through curriculum design, coordination and innovative teaching support.

Key responsibilities

• Design, review and adapt curricula for higher‑education and teacher‑training programmes.
• Align curricula with labour‑market needs and integrate cross‑cutting themes such as sustainability and gender equality.
• Train lecturers in innovative, inclusive and learner‑centred teaching methods, including remote and blended modalities.
• Support the implementation of competence‑based approaches and monitor curriculum effectiveness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in education, curriculum and instruction, or pedagogy.
• 3–5 years of experience designing or reviewing curricula in higher‑education or teacher‑training contexts.
• Demonstrated ability to align curricula with labour‑market demands.
• Experience delivering training on innovative and inclusive pedagogy.

Required skills

• Knowledge of curriculum design, competence‑based approaches and learner‑centred pedagogy.
• Familiarity with adult‑learning principles and remote/blended‑learning modalities.
