Junior Training & Capacity-Building Facilitator

About the role

NTU International A/S is seeking a Junior Training and Capacity‑Building Facilitator to support the Higher Education System Strengthening Project II in Somalia. The role focuses on enhancing the capacity of the higher education system through coordinated training and development activities.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver capacity‑building programmes for adult learners in the education sector.
• Create training materials, conduct workshops, coaching sessions and mentoring for ministry and university staff.
• Monitor and assess training effectiveness, adapting content to meet participants’ needs.
• Utilise virtual or blended‑learning platforms and manage logistics for training events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in education, adult‑learning, human‑resource development or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience designing and facilitating capacity‑building programmes for adult learners, preferably in higher education.
• Proven experience developing training materials and delivering workshops for institutional staff.
• Ability to evaluate training outcomes and adjust curricula accordingly.
• Experience organising logistics for both in‑person and virtual training sessions.
