Project Lead – Inhouse Consulting & Transformational Change

About the role

BASF’s internal management consultancy is looking for a Project Lead to drive transformational change across its business units. You will work closely with senior leaders to design, implement and monitor change initiatives that support sustainability, efficiency and growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end change projects, from diagnosis to implementation and follow‑up.
• Define impact analyses, develop strategic recommendations and create road‑maps for organizational and cultural change.
• Facilitate large‑scale workshops, events and interventions with management teams.
• Support leaders in executing change measures and monitor progress against targets.
• Build a network across BASF’s diverse business areas and act as a trusted advisor.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in change management, management consulting or strategic organizational development.
• University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Psychology or Social Sciences.
• Fluent German and English communication skills.
• Strategic, forward‑thinking mindset with interest in international teamwork.
• Ability to view situations from multiple perspectives; international work experience is a plus.
