Project Manager – Corridor Manager

About the role

The Danish Refugee Council is seeking a Project Manager (Corridor Manager) to lead the Togwaajale water corridor initiative. Reporting to the MSD manager and collaborating with program advisors, the role focuses on strengthening private‑sector water services and fostering partnerships across government, civil society and the private sector.

Key responsibilities

• Co‑develop and implement the corridor development strategy, guiding activities with water service providers, water companies, community water committees and related SMEs.
• Drive creation of public‑private partnerships and attract investment for climate‑resilient, commercially viable water business models.
• Facilitate research on private‑sector opportunities, develop tools and guidance, and support documentation of lessons learned.
• Coordinate training events, knowledge‑sharing sessions and peer‑learning networks for water ecosystem actors.
• Collaborate with the MEAL team to design research tools and collect intervention data.
• Support operational planning, budgeting and sequencing of interventions within the corridor.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project management within humanitarian or water‑sector programmes.
• Strong understanding of private‑sector development, investment pipelines and climate‑resilient business models.
• Ability to build and maintain partnerships with government agencies, NGOs, private companies and financial institutions.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills, with experience in organizing trainings and stakeholder events.
