QA Tester – Software Quality Assurance

About the role

As a QA Tester based in Somalia, you will ensure that software products meet the highest quality standards through thorough testing. You will collaborate closely with developers and product managers in an agile environment to identify, document, and resolve defects.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and execute test plans and test cases.
• Identify, document, and track defects using bug‑tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Perform regression testing to guarantee software stability.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate findings clearly.

Required skills

• Experience with automated testing tools.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools.
• Understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
