RMF Program Assistant – Community Mobilisation

About the role

Save the Children is seeking a motivated RMF Program Assistant to support the Regional Migration Fund (RMF) response and cross‑border infrastructure work in Togwajale, Hargeisa district, Somaliland. The role will coordinate day‑to‑day programme activities and lead community engagement to ensure effective sensitisation, mobilisation and participation of target communities.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate and monitor daily implementation of RMF water and livelihood measures.
• Lead community mobilisation, sensitisation and capacity‑building sessions.
• Engage and manage relationships with project stakeholders, including local authorities and community groups.
• Support project planning, implementation and monitoring activities.
• Report progress and challenges to the RMF Construction Engineer.

Required profile

• Diploma in Social Science or related field.
• Minimum one year of experience in community mobilisation, stakeholder engagement or case management.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of project planning, implementation and monitoring.
• Good understanding of local language, culture and child‑rights frameworks.
