Robotics Data Collector (Somalia)

About the role

CNTXT AI is seeking a Robotics Data Collector to capture high‑quality multimodal datasets for training embodied AI and Vision‑Language‑Action models. You will work hands‑on with cameras, sensors and robotic platforms in lab and controlled real‑world environments.

Key responsibilities

• Collect egocentric and robot‑mounted video, IMU and depth data following predefined scenarios.
• Assist in operating and calibrating humanoid or mobile robots during data‑capture sessions.
• Review and validate recorded data for completeness, clarity and accuracy, flagging any issues.
• Prepare and set up experimental environments, including object manipulation and navigation tasks.
• Maintain detailed documentation of sessions, equipment usage and any problems encountered.
• Follow lab safety, data privacy and security protocols at all times.

Required profile

• 0–3 years of experience in data collection, field operations or technical lab roles.
• Comfortable handling cameras, sensors and basic computer tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
