Senior Food Services Specialist – Chef (Tier 2)

About the role

The Senior Food Services Specialist leads culinary operations at a designated facility, ensuring safe, nutritious, and appealing meals for clients. This position combines supervision of staff, compliance with health regulations, and coordination with other site teams.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily food service operations and personnel, including subcontractors and labor‑broker staff.
• Plan and execute operational schedules, ensuring skilled resources are available.
• Maintain inventory, ordering, and proper food storage practices.
• Ensure all food preparation complies with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Provide culinary instruction and training to supervised employees.
• Monitor quality and quantity of meals delivered to clients.
• Collaborate with other site groups and the client to align service delivery.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent (or comparable education/experience).
• Minimum of four years of relevant food service or culinary experience.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English at an intermediate level.
• Authorization to work in the country of employment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Basic computer and email skills for reporting and communication.
