Senior Somali Linguistic QA Tester – Remote, Mac M-Series Required

About the role

Acclaro is looking for an experienced Senior Somali Linguistic QA Tester to join its global linguistic community. You will work remotely, testing cutting‑edge software applications and AI models that are being localized for the Somali market.

Key responsibilities

• Execute linguistic QA on Somali‑language software interfaces and AI‑generated content, checking style, functionality and visual layout.
• Identify, log and track linguistic errors, visual glitches (truncations, rendering, font issues) and functional defects using standard issue‑tracking workflows.
• Enforce project glossaries, style guides and brand‑specific localization standards.
• Validate cultural relevance and idiomatic accuracy of localized content for the Somali market.
• Collaborate with lead engineers and remote localization managers, providing feedback and linguistic solutions in clear English.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in linguistic QA, software localization testing, proofreading or professional translation (English → Somali).
• Native fluency in Somali with strong command of grammar, typography and orthography.
• Professional‑level written English skills.
• Active access to a Mac computer equipped with an Apple Silicon M‑series chip (M1, M2, M3, M4 or newer).
