Chief Executive Officer – Fintech Cluster

About the role

The Chief Executive Officer – Fintech Cluster will lead Dahabshiil Group’s remittances and payments business, driving a company‑wide transformation and delivering world‑class customer experiences. Reporting to the Board, the CEO will own the P&L and be the external face of the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Board to define a long‑term, transformative strategy that positions the business for sustainable growth.
• Re‑engineer processes, eliminate redundancies and leverage new technologies to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Navigate complex multi‑jurisdictional regulations, AML frameworks and central‑bank relationships to ensure compliance and security.
• Lead digital transformation initiatives, champion product innovation and embed data‑driven decision‑making.
• Foster a high‑performance culture, build a cohesive senior leadership team and empower employees to embrace change.
• Oversee financial performance, identify new market opportunities, expand remittance corridors and optimise resource allocation.
• Represent the company to investors, partners, regulators and internal stakeholders, communicating vision and progress.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, economics or a related field.
• MBA or equivalent qualification is highly desirable.
