Graphic Designer & IT Support Volunteer

About the role

The Poverty Reduction Group is seeking a remote volunteer to strengthen its visual communications and provide basic IT assistance. This hybrid design‑and‑tech role supports the organization’s mission to alleviate poverty through compelling digital content and reliable technical support.

Key responsibilities

• Create digital graphics for social media, presentations, and outreach materials.
• Design logos, branding elements, and refine existing visual assets to ensure consistency.
• Assist with simple IT tasks such as troubleshooting minor issues, maintaining organized file structures, and supporting software or platform challenges.
• Collaborate closely with staff and other volunteers to align visual and technical outputs with the organization’s goals.

Required profile

• Proven graphic design abilities for both digital and print media.
• Experience with logo design, branding, and typography.
• Basic IT literacy, comfortable with common productivity tools and simple troubleshooting.
• Reliable internet connection and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Interest in social impact, poverty reduction, or community development.

Required skills

• Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
• Canva or similar design platforms
• Microsoft Office or Google Workspace for file management and collaboration
• Basic troubleshooting of operating systems and software applications
