Arabic QA Lead (Remote)

About the role

This remote, hourly contract position is for an Arabic Quality Assurance Lead who will oversee quality, consistency, and trainer performance across Arabic AI training projects. You will ensure AI‑generated Arabic content and trainer work meet strict guidelines, providing clear written feedback and maintaining high standards of linguistic accuracy and cultural appropriateness.

Key responsibilities

• Review AI‑generated Arabic content and trainer/QA outputs against detailed project rubrics.
• Provide precise written feedback in English to improve accuracy, fluency, grammar, tone, and cultural relevance.
• Monitor and enforce quality standards for all contributors, identifying recurring issues and communicating updates to trainers and QAs.
• Support onboarding of new contributors and maintain comprehensive documentation.
• Activate and re‑engage contributors who are not consistently delivering work.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Arabic, Linguistics, Translation, Communications, Journalism, English, Education, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
• Native or near‑native Arabic proficiency with strong reading and writing skills.
• Strong command of English for following guidelines and providing feedback.
• 3+ years of professional experience in Arabic writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, AI training, annotation, or related language‑review workflows.
• Deep understanding of Arabic grammar, spelling, punctuation, diacritics, RTL formatting, tone, register, Modern Standard Arabic, and regional variations.
• Experience leading or supporting remote teams of trainers, annotators, reviewers, editors, or QAs is strongly preferred.
