ENT Consultant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced ENT Consultant to lead both outpatient and inpatient otolaryngology services. The role involves comprehensive patient assessment, surgical intervention, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality ENT care.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct full outpatient and inpatient ENT assessments.
• Perform endoscopic nasal and laryngeal examinations.
• Manage epistaxis, airway emergencies, foreign bodies, tonsillitis, otitis media, sinus disease, vertigo, hearing problems, and ENT infections.
• Carry out surgical procedures including tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, septoplasty, functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS), myringotomy/grommet insertion, mastoid procedures, tracheostomy and emergency airway support.
• Make safe surgical decisions and provide pre‑ and postoperative care.
• Ensure infection prevention, clear documentation, and adherence to clinical protocols.
• Collaborate with anesthesia, ICU, pediatrics, emergency, audiology, and nursing teams.

Required profile

• MBBS/MD or equivalent.
• Postgraduate specialist qualification in ENT/Otorhinolaryngology (e.g., MS ENT, MD ENT, DNB ENT, FRCS ORL‑HNS, Arab Board, Fellowship).
• Valid specialist/consultant licence or eligibility.
• Minimum 7 years of post‑qualification experience in a hospital‑based consultant or specialist role.
