Food & Beverage Manager (Front of House)

About the role

The Food & Beverage Manager (Front of House) leads dining operations across multiple locations, ensuring smooth service, high guest satisfaction, and strict adherence to quality, safety, and service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise front‑of‑house staff and coordinate with culinary, banquet, and other F&B teams.
• Maintain operational efficiency, guest experience excellence, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Provide administrative support for payroll, timekeeping, inventory, purchasing, financial controls, and reporting.
• Manage cash handling and POS transactions accurately.

Required profile

• Associate degree in business management or a 2‑year culinary degree.
• Minimum 4 years of business or food‑and‑beverage management experience, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
• Valid driver’s license and Washoe County work permits (Liquor, Food & Beverage).
• Washoe County Food Safety Manager Certification (or obtain within 3 months) and Alcohol Awareness card (or obtain within 30 days).
• Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
• Knowledge of financial accounting software.
