Freelance Behavioral Health Coach – Remote (Somalia)

About the role

We are looking for qualified Behavioral Health Coaches to join our tele‑health platform Intellect. As a freelance practitioner you will deliver 30‑minute video sessions to clients across Somalia, helping them manage work‑related stress, improve work‑life balance and achieve personal or career goals.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct 1‑on‑1 telehealth coaching sessions focused on sub‑clinical issues such as stress, procrastination and relationship challenges.
• Assist clients in defining and pursuing personal, professional or relationship objectives.
• Collaborate with Intellect’s internal clinical team to suggest improvements to the coaching program and platform.
• Maintain accurate session records and adhere to confidentiality standards.

Required profile

• Active International Coaching Federation (ICF) certification with at least 200 coaching hours, or a Master/Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling with at least 300 post‑graduation clinical hours.
• Proficiency in English and the local language.
• Experience working with adults in employee assistance programmes, counselling or managerial coaching is preferred.

Required skills

• Coaching techniques and evidence‑based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Solution‑Focused Brief Therapy.
