Vector Control Foreman (Tier 2)

About the role

The Vector Control Foreman (Tier 2) leads the Integrated Pest Management (IPM) program for an assigned area, ensuring the health and safety of site personnel by controlling pest‑borne vectors.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise vector control operations and coordinate IPM activities, including monitoring site conditions, sanitation practices, and exclusion measures.
• Partner with HSE team members to deliver preventative medicine and health‑promotion campaigns, and provide education and training to site personnel.
• Coordinate with veterinary representatives and DoD personnel for trapping, transport of feral animals, and pesticide/herbicide application.
• Ensure hazardous materials are stored, transported, and used in compliance with company, site, and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate project status, issues, and requirements to site management and functional leaders, and complete all administrative documentation.

Required profile

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent with at least four years of related experience.
• Authorization to work in the country of the position.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English at an intermediate level.
• Familiarity with host national regulatory guidance and compliance with DoDI 4150.07‑DoD and TB MED 561.

Required skills

• DoD certification in Core Phase and Categories 6, 7, and 8 (or equivalent U.S. commercial license).
• Knowledge of hazardous material handling and safe work practices for vector control.
