Human Resource Officer – NOB, Dolow

About the role

The World Food Programme is seeking a Human Resource Officer for its NOB office in Dolow, Somalia. The role supports the implementation of WFP’s People Policy and contributes to a diverse, inclusive, and high‑performing workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in applying the WFP People Policy across the Somalia country office and its field locations.
• Support staff recruitment, onboarding and administration in line with WFP values.
• Promote diversity, inclusion and equal employment opportunity in all HR processes.
• Collaborate with managers to ensure compliance with HR standards and procedures.
• Contribute to the development of a healthy and supportive work environment.

Required profile

• Commitment to WFP’s principles of integrity, collaboration, commitment, humanity and inclusion.
• Understanding of the four priority areas of the People Policy: nimble and flexible, performing and improving, diverse and inclusive, caring and supportive.
• Willingness to work in a humanitarian context and support field operations.
