Paralegal & Eviction Taskforce Monitor – Adado (Casual)

About the role

NRC Somalia is seeking qualified female candidates to join its legal assistance team in Adado. As casual staff, you will work closely with the ICLA (Information, Counselling and Legal Assistance) team and local authorities to provide community‑based legal support to displaced and vulnerable populations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver legal information, counselling and referral services on housing, land, property, civil documentation and protection concerns.
• Identify cases, raise legal awareness, and follow up on dispute resolution.
• Collect and document data on eviction risks, incidents and displacement trends.
• Support early‑warning and eviction‑prevention activities through regular field monitoring.
• Maintain case files, prepare reports and ensure timely communication with NRC programme staff.

Required profile

• Female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

• Good understanding of local legal frameworks related to housing, land and property.
• Ability to work independently in remote, hard‑to‑reach areas.
