Somali Remote Consecutive Interpreter (On-Demand)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Somali Remote Consecutive Interpreter to provide on‑demand interpretation services for phone calls, video sessions, and other remote interactions. You will bridge language gaps for healthcare and related contexts, ensuring clear communication and compliance with privacy standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver consecutive interpretation during phone calls, meetings, conferences, and interviews.
• Listen attentively to the source language speaker and convey the message accurately in the target language.
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity throughout each assignment.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and follow Reviver’s protocols, policies, and industry best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of professional interpretation experience or 3,000+ hours of active interpreting.
• Proficiency in at least two languages (Somali and English) with documented English technical proficiency (ILR rating or equivalent).
• Successful completion of a mock call assessment.
• Updated resume highlighting relevant interpretation experience.
• Clear criminal background check (English version).
• Reliable technical setup: headset, stable internet connection, and laptop.
