About the role
BURN is seeking a motivated Biomass Warranty Intern to support warranty operations in Somaliland. You will manage spare‑parts inventory, coordinate repair‑station support and training, and track warranty activities to ensure high‑quality service delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Liaise with the Warranty Services Manager, Field Operations, and ERP teams to inspect, count, and transfer spare parts received from Kenya.
- Conduct weekly stock takes and ensure repair stations are adequately restocked.
- Track warranty parts dispatched to stations using ERP systems and Excel tools.
- Coordinate with Finance to monitor inventory consumption and maintain accurate expense records.
- Communicate with service‑station technicians, provide product‑repair training, and support onboarding of new stations.
- Work with Quality Assurance to identify and report abnormal field failures.
- Prepare reports, documentation, and photos of service‑station visits and trainings.
Required profile
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field.
- Strong organizational and inventory‑management abilities.
- Good communication, teamwork, and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel for station visits and trainings.
- Fluency in English; Somali preferred.
