Community Feedback Mechanism Officer – Mogadishu

About the role

The Community Feedback Mechanism (CFM) Officer will support the BRCiS Consortium in implementing MEAL plans, standard operating procedures and community feedback systems across Somalia. The role ensures that displaced people, host‑community members and other stakeholders can safely access trusted feedback channels, receive clear information on their rights and entitlements, and obtain timely responses to complaints.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor BRCiS Consortium MEAL plans, SOPs and guidelines.
• Coordinate consortium‑level complaints and feedback reporting, ensuring consistent referral, response and closure processes.
• Facilitate the continuous improvement of community feedback and Community Engagement and Accountability (CEA) systems.
• Handle sensitive complaints confidentially and escalate them through NRC safeguarding, Speak Up, PSEA and accountability procedures, including the Talk to Loop mechanism.
• Work with consortium members and third‑party channels to strengthen reporting, learning, risk management and the use of feedback for programme quality.

Required profile

• Qualified female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Experience in humanitarian programmes, MEAL activities or community feedback mechanisms.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, PSEA and accountability frameworks in humanitarian contexts.
