Curriculum & Pedagogy Expert (Junior) – Higher Education Project

About the role

NTU International A/S is seeking a junior Curriculum & Pedagogy Expert to join the core team of the EU‑funded Higher Education System Strengthening Project II in Somalia. The role focuses on strengthening the capacity of Somalia’s higher‑education system through improved coordination, regulation and sustainable interventions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, review and adapt curricula for higher‑education and teacher‑training programmes.
• Align curricula with labour‑market needs and integrate cross‑cutting themes.
• Train lecturers in innovative, inclusive and learner‑centred teaching methods.
• Support the implementation of remote and blended‑learning modalities.
• Contribute to the overall project implementation and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in education, curriculum and instruction, or pedagogy.
• 3–5 years of experience designing or reviewing curricula in higher‑education or teacher‑training contexts.
• Proven experience aligning curricula with labour‑market demands.
• Experience delivering training to lecturers on innovative and inclusive pedagogy.
• Familiarity with adult‑learning principles and remote/blended‑learning approaches.

Required skills

• Knowledge of curriculum design, competence‑based approaches and learner‑centred pedagogy.
