Curriculum & Pedagogy Expert – Junior (Higher Education Project)

About the role

The project aims to strengthen Somalia's higher‑education system by improving coordination, regulation and sustainability of interventions. As a Junior Curriculum & Pedagogy Expert you will support the core team in designing, reviewing and aligning curricula with labour‑market needs.

Key responsibilities

• Design and review curricula for higher‑education and teacher‑training programmes.
• Align curricula with labour‑market demands and integrate cross‑cutting themes.
• Train lecturers in innovative, inclusive and learner‑centred teaching methods.
• Support the implementation of remote and blended‑learning modalities.
• Contribute to project reporting and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in education, curriculum and instruction, or pedagogy.
• 3–5 years of experience in curriculum design or review within higher‑education or teacher‑training contexts.
• Proven experience aligning curricula with labour‑market needs.
• Experience delivering training on innovative and inclusive pedagogy.
• Familiarity with adult‑learning principles and remote/blended‑learning environments.
