Curriculum & Pedagogy Expert (Junior)

About the role

NTU International A/S is seeking a Junior Curriculum & Pedagogy Expert to join the core team of the EU‑funded Higher Education System Strengthening Project II in Somalia. The role focuses on enhancing the capacity of Somalia’s higher‑education system through curriculum development, pedagogical innovation, and alignment with labour‑market needs.

Key responsibilities

• Design, review and adapt curricula for higher‑education and teacher‑training programmes.
• Integrate competence‑based approaches and learner‑centred pedagogy into existing curricula.
• Align curriculum content with current labour‑market demands and cross‑cutting thematic priorities.
• Provide training and coaching to lecturers on innovative, inclusive and blended‑learning teaching methods.
• Support the implementation of remote and hybrid learning modalities in line with adult‑learning principles.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Curriculum & Instruction, Pedagogy or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience designing or reviewing curricula in higher‑education or teacher‑training contexts.
• Demonstrated ability to align curricula with labour‑market needs and integrate cross‑cutting themes.
• Experience delivering training on innovative and inclusive teaching practices.
• Familiarity with adult‑learning principles and remote/blended‑learning environments.
