Emergency Dispatcher (Tier 2)

About the role

The Emergency Dispatcher (Tier 2) will serve as the primary point of contact for emergency and non‑emergency calls, ensuring rapid and accurate deployment of response units. Working in a high‑tempo communication center, you will help protect lives and property by coordinating emergency services.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and assess emergency information from 911 and non‑emergency callers.
• Dispatch appropriate emergency services personnel and resources.
• Monitor the communication center and maintain continuous call handling.
• Log call data and update tracking systems and reports.
• Follow applicable regulations and standards (e.g., AR, DoDI, NFPA, CFR).
• Complete formal training on relevant Automated Information Systems (AIS) as required.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent (or comparable education/experience).
• Minimum of four (4) years of related emergency dispatch experience.
• Intermediate proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Ability to obtain background check and any required security clearance.
• Authorization to work in the country of assignment.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Automated Information Systems (AIS) used in emergency communications.
