Finance Associate

About the role

The Finance Associate will support the Finance Department in processing transactions, maintaining accurate records, and preparing reports. This position works closely with the Finance Manager to ensure smooth day‑to‑day financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate ledgers.
• Prepare payment vouchers, receipts, journal entries, and perform bank reconciliations.
• Process supplier invoices, employee reimbursements, and other company payments.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Reconcile bank statements, cash balances, and general ledger accounts.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support budget preparation, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Help with payroll processing and payroll reconciliations when required.
• Monitor and reconcile petty‑cash transactions.
• Maintain filing systems, supporting documentation, and fixed‑asset records.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, tax regulations, and internal controls.
• Support internal and external audit activities by providing required documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
• High attention to detail, integrity, and confidentiality.
• Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP or accounting software (Odoo is a plus).
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
