Junior Curriculum & Pedagogy Expert – Higher Education Project

About the role

NTU International A/S is seeking a Junior Curriculum & Pedagogy Expert to join the core team of the EU‑funded Higher Education System Strengthening Project II in Somalia. The role focuses on enhancing curriculum design, teaching methods, and alignment with labour‑market needs within higher‑education and teacher‑training institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, review, and adapt curricula for higher‑education and teacher‑training programmes.
• Integrate competence‑based approaches and learner‑centred pedagogy into existing curricula.
• Align curriculum outcomes with current and future labour‑market requirements, including cross‑cutting themes.
• Provide training and capacity‑building workshops for lecturers on innovative and inclusive teaching methods.
• Support the implementation of remote and blended‑learning modalities, applying adult‑learning principles.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, Pedagogy, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience designing or reviewing curricula in higher‑education or teacher‑training contexts.
• Proven experience aligning curricula with labour‑market needs and integrating cross‑cutting themes.
• Experience delivering training on innovative teaching methods and inclusive pedagogy.
• Familiarity with adult‑learning principles and remote/blended‑learning environments.

Required skills
