Learning and Development Manager – Hospitality

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Learning and Development Manager to join our hotel portfolio in Hargeisa. You will design, deliver and evaluate training programmes that drive service excellence, uphold brand standards and improve operational efficiency across all hotel departments.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct training needs analyses and identify skill gaps.
• Develop curricula, learning materials and blended learning solutions (classroom, on‑the‑job, digital).
• Facilitate training sessions and workshops for frontline and management teams.
• Monitor training effectiveness through assessments, feedback and performance metrics.
• Continuously refine programmes to align with evolving business priorities.
• Support leadership development, onboarding and career‑path initiatives.
• Maintain accurate training records and collaborate with department heads and HR.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Learning & Development or Training Management within hospitality or a service‑focused industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, HR, Education, Business or related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
• Experience in multi‑property or multi‑brand environments is beneficial.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office or equivalent office software.
• Familiarity with e‑learning tools and Learning Management Systems.
