Remote Video Game Composer

About the role

We are looking for a visionary composer to create dynamic, immersive music that defines the sonic identity of our upcoming video games. This fully remote position lets you shape thematic material that reacts to player choices and narrative moments.

Key responsibilities

• Compose and produce original scores ranging from ambient environments to intense combat and cinematic themes.
• Develop adaptive music layers and stems that respond to real‑time gameplay events.
• Collaborate with narrative designers, producers, and sound designers to ensure music matches mood and pacing.
• Integrate musical assets into game engines and audio middleware (Wwise, FMOD) with seamless loops and transitions.
• Iterate quickly on mixes based on feedback and playtesting.
• Maintain organized asset libraries, exporting and labeling files according to technical specifications.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of professional experience composing for video games with a strong, diverse portfolio.
• Expert command of a major DAW (Logic Pro, Cubase, Ableton, or Pro Tools).
• Familiarity with Unity or Unreal Engine and audio middleware such as Wwise or FMOD.
• Deep knowledge of music theory, orchestration, and high‑quality virtual instrument libraries.
• Fully equipped home studio capable of delivering studio‑standard audio.
• Excellent communication skills for virtual collaboration and ability to meet tight deadlines.
