Sales & Outreach Intern

About the role

Nomad Innovation Lab is seeking a Sales & Outreach Intern to support the promotion of its digital health solutions, including the RAAD Electronic Health Record system, to private hospitals and clinics in Somalia. The internship offers hands‑on experience in business development, client outreach, and market research within a post‑conflict setting.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and map private hospitals and clinics for potential engagement.
• Conduct outreach via phone, email and in‑person visits to raise awareness of NIL products.
• Assist in presenting the RAAD EHR system and other solutions to prospective clients.
• Support product demonstrations, follow‑up leads and maintain communication with prospects.
• Perform basic market research and keep a database of outreach activities.
• Collect stakeholder feedback to inform product improvement.
• Help organise meetings, presentations, field visits and prepare proposals and marketing materials.

Required profile

• Final‑year student or recent graduate in Business Administration, Marketing, Health, IT or a related field.
• No prior work experience required; exposure to sales, outreach or the healthcare sector is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and able to work independently.
• Basic organisational and reporting skills.
